Studio Golondrina is ideal for small artist groups, sharing a car and accommodation. The village is served by a daily bus connection to regional coach routes except on weekends and public holidays. Travel without a car might require an overnight stay en route.  Check here for public holiday dates

The studio can accommodate four sculptors at any one time, with some flexibility. There are no fixed dates. You can arrive and leave when you wish but the minimum stay is five carving days. Studio work can be combined with non-working days to allow for other activities such as hikes and trips to local attractions. The only cost on non-studio days is accommodation. Every effort will be made to meet individual requirements. Why not combine a visit to the studio with a city stay in Barcelona or a beach holiday?

Non-carving companions can follow their own interests. The area is perfect for painting, photography, bird watching, hiking, adventure sports, biking and swimming. Spa treatments, gastronomical specialities, historical sites, museums, civil war remains, dinosaur and geological parks, paleoloithic paintings, artisan crafts and many other activities are all available within the immediate area. The studio can help plan any activity. The only cost for companions is accommodation.

Studio rates

£40 per carving day or Euro equivalent, including refreshments. Lunch costs are shared. The working day runs from 9am to 6pm.

There is no charge for the first stone block. Additional stone can be purchased at cost.

Terms for stays longer than five carving days are negotiable.
